Cookie Essential Tools

Updated: Dec 8, 2021

You have your Variant Nutrition protein cookie mix... now what? Besides following the directions on the back, you need a few cookie-essential tools to assist you in the process.

I have made a list of products I use in my kitchen at home. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases made.

Mixing Bowl

Good stainless steel bowls make mixing a lot easier as these bowls have more depth than your cereal bowl.

Measuring Cups & Spoons

Be accurate when adding the water to your mix. Too much, and you will have more of a cake batter.

Silicon Spatulas

When mixing any cookie mix, I first start with a fork, and then I trade it out for a spatula for folding the dough over and pressing it together.

Cookie Scoop It’s how you get such perfect-looking cookie dough balls without using your fingers.

Parchment Baking Paper

I sometimes lay down parchment or wax paper on my cookie sheet when baking for easy clean up. I notice my oven can get a little smokey from the paper, but my cookies still come out gooey.

Cookie Sheet, Cooling Rack, & Silicone Baking Mat

Great package deal! Let me point out the silicone baking mat as it's a must if you're not a fan of greasing your cookie sheet or putting down parchment paper/wax paper. In my experience, cookies have taken longer to bake on a silicone mat.
